Terms & Conditions

1. Any information offered to oldships.org.uk. will be stored on computer and on file but shall not be passed to any Third Party without the written consent of the person registered other than the display of information on the Web Site. Any and all information published is done so at the discretion of oldships.org.uk.

2. oldships.org.uk. shall not be responsible for tracing persons other than publishing details on the website.

3. oldships.org.uk. shall not be responsible for omissions or errors in the information contained or published on the web site or any failure of access or contact by any means.

4. All payments must be made by crossed Cheque or Postal Order to oldships.org.uk. and sent to the address specified in the Contact Us page of this Web Site.

5. All searches following registration are free to Registered Members. These additional searches must be communicated via Email to: admin@oldships.org.uk. and include Membership Number.

6. Any photographic or other material received by oldships.org.uk. must be accompanied by a S.A.E. if the donor requires materials to be returned. Any material not accompanied will be disposed of 90 days after receipt at the discretion of oldships.org.uk

7. oldships.org.uk. shall not be responsible for any material damaged whilst either stored or in transit. Materials in transit or intended to be stored must be covered by the senders insurance. A copy of the cover must be included with each consignment. No goods requiring a signature will be accepted.

8. Registration with oldships.org.uk is mandatory for those individuals, associations or businesses wishing to contribute or have information published. The fee payable is shown in the relevant Registration Page. oldships.org.uk reserve the right to review all trading conditions at any time and can refuse any type of registration. No refunds will be made.

9. Registered Membership both Private and Business shall be valid for 12 calendar months from the date shown on the Membership/Registration card. Renewal reminders will be sent 30 days prior to the expiry date via email. If membership is not renewed within 30 days of the reminder date registration will be cancelled.

10. Trade Registration includes an advertisement limited to the number of words available on the Registration Form. Private advertising is limited to the number of words available on the Memorabilia form. Trade Member advertising is limited to the number of words available on the Trade Members Form. Classified advertising is limited to the number of words available in the Classified Form. All transactions carried out are between the advertiser and the enquirer. oldships.org.uk accepts no responsibility as to the quality, quantity or ownership of the goods offered for sale or swap.

11. All advertisements whether Private or Business can include an unlimited number of items within the constraints of (10) above and shall be published for a maximum period of 30 days from the date of uploading information. No reminders shall be issued. Unless renewed within the 30 day period advertising information shall be deleted.
