6th of the line. Originally USS CLAXTON. Lend Lease to RN from 05/12/1940. Lent to RCN 09/1942 to1944. Sold in Canada 25/06/1944.1st 4th rate 48 launched Bucklers Hard  18/04/1698. Captured by the French 10/04/1703 by French ADROIT. Re-captured 15/03/1708. Re-named PRESTON 02/01/1716. Re-built 1742. Hulk at Trincomalee from 09/1748. Broken up there. oldships.org.uk
