Explanation - Action also referred to as "Frigate Bay", 1782. Vice Admiral Sir Samuel Hood (1724-1816) in command of 22 ships, lured a French fleet from it's anchorage in Frigate Bay, St. Kitts by trickery, then anchored his own ships in their place. |
